ABOUT THERMOSHIELD COATINGS

Thermoshield Coating is a unique insulating coating that reduces inside temperatures by 45% and reduces air-conditioning costs by half. Unlike other insulation methods that allow heat to penetrate the roof, Thermoshield reflects the heat from the roof thus preventing heat from penetrating the building.

Thermoshield Coating contains microscopic ceramic beads based on the same technology NASA used in the ceramic heat barrier tiles of the Space Shuttle. When applied the ceramic beads in Thermoshield form a heat barrier coating that forms a dead airspace on the surface of the roof. This is so effective that it reflects heat off the roof.

Thermoshield Coating can be applied to asbestos, galvanised, croma deck, cement and tiled roofs. Ideal for schools, factories, warehouses, shopping centres, pack sheds, chicken farms, agricultural buildings, churches and domestic roofs.

An added advantage of Thermoshield Coating is that the product prolongs the roofs life span. Roofs expand and contract as the surface heats and cools during the day.  This constant expansion and contraction eventually leads to degradation causing leaks, rust and UV break down. Thermoshield reduces expansion and contraction by 90% and prevents harmful UV rays from entering the coating. Thermoshield Coating Applications

Thermoshield is applied by a professional coating team nationaly. The roof is first cleaned using a power washer to remove all dirt and grime from the surface. Next the roof is inspected for any cracks, leaks and loose roof bolts. If any defects are found they are repaired. After the preperation is completed the team apply the first coat of Thermoshield, 0.5 microns thick with an airless sprayer. Once the first coating is dry, normally the next day, the final coat of Thermoshield is applied.

Ten Year Guarantee

Thermoshield is gauranteed for ten years by the manufacturer and a five year gaurantee on the workmanship.
